Hollie was diagnosed with a brain tumor in June 2007.
she had surgery to remove as much of the tumor as they could and then had a years treatment of radiotherapy and chemotherapy to shrink the remaining tumor.
Sadly in June 2008 hollie lost her fight and passed away.
She would always manage to smile and laugh and was always so brave throughout it all, a real inspiration to others.
Hollie will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her she was a real star.

Hollie,
I'm sorry that I didn't call you back. We had a long gossip on the phone a week before you left us and I had to go to work...I promised to call you in a few days. But i got caught up and forgot.
I feel so guilty for this and hope that you never thought badly of me...and I hope that the chat we had let you know what I thought of you. I promised you that you were a fighter and that everything would be fine. And when i heard that you'd gone, I wished that I had called you...made more of an effort and told you so many things. Do you remember our late night chats about life, families and putting the world to rights. We told each other lots of secrets and I will always treasure your friendship. I hope you forgive me for not being there when you needed me most.
You touched my life in so many ways, and we had a connection that will never be broken regardless of where we are. I take comfort in knowing that when It's time for me to leave this world...i'll have you there to welcome me.
You will live forever in my heart and I look at your photos all the time.

Such a bright young lady, taken from us far too soon. Almost three years younger than me, its just a complete crime such a wonderful person is now gone.

Im so sorry to hear of your loss, holly looked like a beautiful, kind person, with an amazing, bubbly personality, life is cruel, taking good people, but she is in a more beautiful place now watching over you all............

God bless you Hollie and all your friends and family who must love you very much. I lost my partner of 13 years to a brain tumour on the 22 March this year after over 6 years. It is so hard. I will tell Franco to keep an eye out for Hollie and watch over her as she will be an angel in heaven. Love to you all x
